What does yoga therapy intale?
Yoga therapy stands out through its holistic approach, as every complaint is connected to a whole person — with thoughts, emotions, and a personal history. It works in a complementary and supportive way.
The first session is an introduction and an opportunity to listen to your story.
A questionnaire is used to better understand you and to gain insight into your current health situation, your past, and your personal experience.
This session can easily take up to 90 minutes, depending on your situation. Based on your needs and questions, an initial analysis and yoga plan are created. Ideally, over a minimum of 5 sessions, we explore which tools support you best — and what brings you energy and well-being.
These tools include:
• Conscious movement and breathing
• Guided relaxation
• Stretching and strengthening of the muscles
The aim is to create space in the body and send a signal to the brain that you are safe and may relax.
When the nervous system can settle — and you learn how to do this yourself — you regain control over how you feel and how you interpret those feelings.
Feel free to reach out for a no-obligation intake and introduction. A good connection is essential so you feel at ease during the sessions — only then can real change occur.
An intake session lasts 90 minutes and takes place in the studio, unless agreed otherwise.
Client benefit: If you are affiliated with Helan, you may receive up to €120 reimbursement for therapy sessions.
