Yoga therapy

Yoga therapy distinguishes itself through its holistic approach, because every discomfort involves a whole person with thoughts, emotions and a past. It works complementary and supportive.

The first intake is to get to know each other and to listen to your story. A questionnaire is completed to get to know you better and to get a good picture of your current health situation, your past and your experience of it.

This can easily take 90 minutes depending on your situation. Based on your questions and needs, an initial analysis and yoga plan is made. During ideally at least 5 sessions, we investigate which tools help you best and which make you happy and give you energy.

These tools consist of:

  • Conscious movement and breathing.

  • Conscious relaxation.

  • Lenghtening and strengthening the muscles.

To create space in the body and send a signal to the brain that you are safe and may come to rest.

If we can calm the nervous system and you know how to do that, you will regain control over your feelings and your interpretation of it.

Give me a sign for a free intake interview and introduction, because there must also be a click with me, so that you feel comfortable during the sessions. Only then can something start to flow.

An intake interview lasts 90 minutes and takes place here in the studio, unless otherwise agreed.

"The sessions at Yogalimbs are truly a breath of fresh air. His personal approach, with an eye for detail and anatomy, makes every class special. Maarten guides you in a way that encourages awareness and a deeper connection with your body, while the exercises are challenging enough to encourage continuous growth. After each session, you leave feeling rejuvenated, recharged, and balanced. Highly recommended for anyone looking for more than just physical exercises."
